Having the tables turned on me…

It’s normally me who gets to photograph the pretty girls, but yesterday I had the tables turned on me and it was a pretty girl who got to photograph me.

There was a time, not so long ago, where I used to shy from the camera, and hated having my picture taken, but now, it’s actually kind of fun.

I was introduced to new photographer Jennalise Kassanis through a client of mine, and we met up for a bit of a chit chat yesterday about all things photography.  We had a walk around Netley Abbey, and snapped a few photos of each other.  It’s not often I’ll recommend another photographer on my blog, but I have to say I am really happy with the photos Jennalise took of me.

Thanks J!  It was fun!

Skip gets a shower

He doesn’t much like it, but it has to be done.

Thanks to @ecokitchens for the posh doggy shampoo!

Little Black Book tee shirts

Just for fun this one.

I’ve made available a few t-shirts for my “Little Black Book” models.  Ladies, send me a picture of you wearing the shirt and I’ll post them here and on Facebook, and my favourite will win a copy of the book!

I appear to have become mildly addicted to physics games

So I thought I’d start to share my addiction with you.

Here’s the first.

Getting shot by a lingerie model

I wanted a photo of my posh new embroidered shirt.

So I asked the model.

Got the England blues?

England are rubbish at football.  Fact.

Hope these pictures of the lovely Abby cheer you up a tad guys.

Halfords are rubbish

I don’t really use this blog for rants, but today after visiting Halfords I feel it is justified.

I went in looking for a replacement stick replacement for my rear view mirror.  Although my car, a Peugeot 407 is very common on the roads, it was a special order.

The other thing I wanted was a couple of blind spot mirrors to stick on, I always use them, and feel blind without them.

Halfords had them, at £7.99.

I walked out.  Drove home.  Within 2 minutes of getting on Ebay I’d found the replacement mirror for way less than Halfords were asking.  I’d also found 2 blind spot mirrors, total price including delivery £1.98.

I bought everything I needed on ebay and still had enough change from a tenner for a Mars bar!

Halfords you are rubbish, and the only reason you haven’t gone under is by default because you have no serious competition in the UK.

Blue skies, jet trails & cheesy balls…

I was sitting in a friends garden last night eating a sandwich, some cheesy balls and enjoying a nice cup of tea.  I looked up, saw this shot, and snapped it.

Look all around you, you never know where your next photo is coming from.

My Evil Twin and I

This is a picture of Mike and myself.  Mike is my evil twin.  We were both born on the same day, in the same hospital.  For all we know we could have been swapped at birth!

We have just finished building our barn!

Peter Gabriel signed my photo!

I’m a big Peter Gabriel fan, so last year I got a ticket to WOMAD, took my camera along and got some of my best concert photos ever.

After I decided to send a photo to Peter to see if I could get him to sign it.  Nothing ventured nothing gained and all that.  Today that photo arrived back with me, personally signed by the man himself.

Rock and bloody roll!

I’ll be going shopping for a nice frame to put it in shortly.

Big thank you to Peter, and to Rachael at Real World Studios for making my day!
